While surfing through emails relating to the Apple vs Epic lawsuit, folks from The Verge recently discovered an email by Jobs that mentions the iPhone nano. The email dates back to October 2010 and contains an agenda for a strategy meeting. Under the meeting discussions section, there is a bullet point that clearly mentions the “iPhone nano plan” along with two sub-points. One of them mentions the “cost goals” of the device, while the other one states that “Jony”, presumably Apple’s former Chief Designer Jony Ive, would “show model (and/ or renderings)” of the iPhone nano....

ROG Phone 5: Launch Date Asus has created a landing page for the ROG Phone 5 launch event. The website does not mention the exact date but has a timer counting down to 10th March. Implications and Impacts of Internet Shutdowns According to the #KeepItOn coalition cited in the report, 931 shutdowns were reported between 2016 and 2021 in 74 countries. Of these shutdowns, some countries were blocking communications repeatedly and over long periods of time. Furthermore, the report mentions that at least 225 shutdowns were related to social, political, or economic grievances. “Shutdowns are powerful markers of deteriorating human rights situations. Over the past decade, they have tended to occur in particular contexts, including during periods of conflict or heightened political tensions, such as the periods surrounding elections or during large-scale protests,” states the report....
